        Observation   of   the   plight   of   homeless   people

      Internationally  and   here   within   Australia
      Sydney  alone   has  30,000  people   homeless  only  small   percentage   will   be   lucky
           enough  to  get   a   bed   in  a  hostel  or  such   on   any   given   night.
     
      Investment  in   resources  to  minimise   homelessness.
      Here  in   my   country   town   Mission   Australia  runs   a   service  called   wagga   youth   connections,     supporting  young   people   who   are    homeless   or   at   risk   of   homelessness
     to   break   the    cycle  of   drug   or    alcohol   dependence  ,  family  breakdowns  ,leading  into
     older   age    ongoing    homelessness.    
    Shelters   and   homes   do  also   house   older  homeless  people   from  my   country  town.
   Seeing   them   wandering   around   the   streets ,does   make  you   feel   very   lucky  to   have  a   roof
   over   your   head,  and   to   have   a  bed   to   sleep  in  at  night ,  whether   it   be  summer
   or  a   cold   winters   night.

I  especially like the  shadow/ stripe  effect of  the   chair panels

I took  this photograph during the  morning in the  winter,outside D building  at  Tafe
the  top  of  a  gargage bin ,  the rust and  old paint   appealed  to  me
some  contents  of the bin  can  be  seen,  in  a  way  its  not   like  a  bin

walking tour/melbourne lanes/street art &graffiti art

a weekend in july I along  with a group  of  friends walked  the innercity  lanes  of  melbourne
with a  fantastic tour  guide  who  works  for  the  Salvation Army she  really gave  us  lots  of  imformation. about the  graffiti and  street  art , she  knew all  about how  the artists
operate ,apparently  the   graffiti  artists  and   street  artists  dont  really  like  each  other  very  much.

 after  two  hours  of  total   enjoyment  &  lots  of   photographs ,we  devoured   yum  cha  in  chinatown.
